To kick off the summer in true style, the Speak Up & Dance crew will be packing up their best tunes and outfits and heading to Shindig Festival (21–25 May), at Charlton Park, Malmesbury, Wiltshire.
In many ways, Shindig is our spiritual home, as most of us would never have met without it and its famously welcoming and inclusive dance floors.
The festival and its organisers have supported us since day one, and we’re over the moon to be staging a Speak Up & Dance Takeover on Saturday night at the Shimmy Discotheque (5pm–1am), with a great line-up of DJs spinning house and disco tunes guaranteed to get you moving.
As always, we’ll be raising awareness and funds for men’s mental health charity Talk Club, with several ways to contribute over the weekend:
In addition, Bristol Beer Factory will be raising funds for Talk Club through sales of Clearhead, a gluten-free 0.5% ABV alcohol-free IPA, throughout the festival.
When we’re not on the dance floor, you’ll find us at the Incapable Staircase tent, where we’ll be playing a live DJ set from 6.30–8pm on Friday. We’ll also be joining The Incapable Panel Question Time at 1pm on Saturday, also broadcast live – they always create a great vibe, so come and say hello and join their micro party.
Buy your Shindig tickets now before they sell out – this is one party you don’t want to miss.
See you on the dance floor for connection, conversation and good vibes.
