We couldn't do this without some incredible people behind us

Speak Up & Dance runs entirely on goodwill, generosity and a shared belief that music and community can genuinely save lives. The organisations, companies and individuals listed here make our goals possible.

Incapable Staircase
Who They Are

Incapable Staircase started during lockdown, when people needed connection more than anything and we figured radio was a pretty good way to do it. We're a non-profit community station, broadcasting 24/7 with DJs spread across the UK who genuinely love music and the people they share it with.

What They Do

They broadcast around the clock, platform emerging and established DJs, and take the station out into the world — events across the South West and festivals too. At festivals they bring the whole thing with us. Tent, sofas, rugs, vinyl, live radio, artist interviews.

Tune in from home or come find them on site.

How They Help

Incapable Staircase host our radio shows, give our voices a platform through speaking events and panels, and open their airwaves up for takeovers.

They bring together world-class music, immersive art, family-friendly experiences and a welcoming community for four days of creativity, connection and discovery.

How They Help

Shindig supports us through collaborations, lending equipment and resources, with Event Director Simon Clarke DJing at our events, and by creating a striking new light box that brings even more shine to the dance floor.

As if that's not enough, they have given us our first festival takeover for Saturday 23 May 2026 at their house and disco venue, Shimmy Discotheque. We have a great lineup and cannot wait to fill that dance floor.
